graduated „Gh. Dima” Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca in 1995, Master degree at the same institution in 1996, PhD with Prof. Eduard Terényi, PhD. She has been teaching Opera courses, Acting and Stage movement at the University of Oradea since 1995.

The soloist’s activity consists mainly in contemporary repertoire, especially monodrama, musical genre created by Eduard Terényi in Nomad Songs, Hortus deliciarum, Amor Sanctus, Japan’s flowers, Kalevala, Mephistofaust, The New Adam, La Divina Commedia, Les fêtes d’Ulysse, The story of little prince. She directed and performed musical roles in Dido and Aeneas by Purcell, Die Kluge by Orff, L’infedelita delusa by Haydn, Le nozze di Figaro by Mozart, L’Orfeo by Monteverdi, La voix humaine by Poulenc.

Her research in melodramatic show, as a branch of the experimental theatre has been materialized into two short movies and a number of performances using an unconventional interpreting space: Dialog in 2+1, Behind Us and the Face of Things, Psyichodrama 1,The LittlePrince, Temple of Nichita, Dilemma, L’autre monde, Om-eikon, Dream Face – Sand Face.

Her curator activity consists of the organization of more than 150 shows and concerts in Bucharest, Cluj, Nyírbátor, Oradea, Timişoara, Satu-Mare, Stuttgart, Turda, Budapest, Debrecen, Barcelona, Paris, Harbin, Dresden, Berlin.

Scientific work has been configured in more than 40 musicological studies and 2 books: Erwartung – a new gender in musical theatre, Editura Universităţii din Oradea, 2004, La voix humaine – the drama of loneliness, Editura Universităţii din Oradea, 2004.

Ramona Novicov (Ph.D.), art critic, university professor and curator, has been a member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA) since 2000. Currently a regular contributor to many periodicals, radio and T.V. programmes, some of them as a host (“Art Style” and “Beyond the facades” for TV Transilvania) or producer (“Pentagon”, a TV show on culture, fine arts and architecture for TVS Oradea). She has authored many books and studies in the field of art trends and currents, focused mainly on the artistic phenomenon of the Romanian vanguard of the ’70s and ’80 (“Vanguard Art in Romania between 1968-1974”, Studio 35. Experiment Cluj – Oradea”). She has penned monthly crossover art essays in the Romanian periodical PHOTO magazine ever since its inception in 2005. As an art curator she organized individual and collective exhibitions in Romania and abroad. Ramona Novicov is at present delivering lectures on Art History at The Faculty of Architecture and Constructions of Oradea
